Ceramic cores AL are designed for aluminium castings made by the lost wax method. The cores are stable up to 780 °C. It can be used for various casting types as an internal or external core. It is possible to produce cavities of higher complexity and smaller cross sections compared to the technology of water soluble wax cores.

Cores are impregnated with a proprietary solution for higher strength during transport, handling and wax injection and primarily for resistance against water and steam attack during shell dewaxing (e.g. in autoclave). The most important feature of ceramic cores MP AL is that after the casting process ceramic cores AL can be easily washed out from the cavity with water within short time. Pressure water  of 50 – 200 bar is necessary for MP AL  cores removal. Concentric nozzle is favourable. Rinse the casting with clean water after that to ensure all the core material is out.
